Design Stonework Metal Wood Paint Landscapes

Beer bottles and trinkets, doll heads, one old indian head penny, some bones.
That's all that is left.

Let's put it back.  Secure Joist Pockets.
Joist pockets in old stone walls are not a good home for wood.
(As illustrated under previous post - wood rot)
Even though we addressed all of the water entryways we could imagine.  We over build here.
We use pressure treated wood and place a vapor barrier in the joist pockets.
Leave a space for air flow or wrap the pocket with tar paper or a moisture barrier.
JOisTs are in.
